I grew up in Hildesheim. After graduating from high school, I began my studies in Göttingen and continued in Hanover. After completing my studies and doctorate at the Hannover Medical School in 2002, I initially worked in the Clinic for Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgery at the MH Hannover until 2007. During this time I worked for 1 year each in trauma surgery and in the severely burned center. I then worked for 2 years in general surgery in Celle before I switched to the department for plastic and aesthetic surgery at the Sana Klinikum Hameln from the end of 2008, made my specialist for plastic and aesthetic surgery and worked until the end of 2011.
Already during my studies and later as a licensed doctor, I worked on various projects for experimental and clinical research. The results were published in renowned specialist journals and presented at numerous congresses. In order to optimize my knowledge, I regularly attended workshops and congresses at home and abroad (South Africa, Brazil, Canada) and learned from the masters of your subject. As a full member of the German Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons e.V. (DGPRÄC), I am also in close contact with renowned colleagues.
From 2011 to early 2014 I worked as an affiliated doctor at Klinik am Aegi in Hanover. From February 2014, Cosmopolitan Aesthetics was founded in Hanover, where wrinkle treatments and outpatient procedures are carried out. Inpatient operations are carried out in the modern and well-equipped Sophienklinik and Eilenriedeklinik affiliated clinics.
From 2012 to 2017 I worked – in between also as medical director – in the Alster Clinic in Hamburg. In March 2018, together with my colleague and very good friend Dr. Christian Kerpen runs the private practice clinic for plastic and aesthetic surgery Cosmopolitan Aesthetics Dres. Boorboor & Kerpen GmbH in Hamburg, where I act alongside him as managing director and medical director.
